Applicants are required to declare any convictions ( including spent ), cautions,
reprimands or final warnings that are not protected as defined by The Rehabilitation of
Offenders Act 1974, exemption order 1975 (as amended in 2013). It is compulsory for
all applicants to have completed an enhanced DBS check with satisfactory results
before any placement. Any information provided will be completely confidential and will
be considered only in relation to the position applied for.
The requirement to declare any conviction is mandatory, making a false or incorrect
declaration will be treated as misconduct or an act of dishonesty.
